CETONI devices are connected to one another via CAN bus and use the CANopen protocol for standardized access to all device parameters. Many PLC controllers, such as devices from Beckhoff, B&R or WAGO, already have CANopen interfaces for direct connection of our devices or can be expanded to include CANopen capabilities using bus couplers.

In the neMESYS Firmware Specification, you will find detailed information about accessing the device parameters via CANopen and controlling the pump with your Beckhoff or WAGO PLC.

Two CAN modules are available from Helmholz, which let you add CAN bus capabilities to S7-300 and S7-400 controllers. Helmholz provides examples for both modules, for accessing the drive controllers of the neMESYS pumps. Together with the neMESYS firmware specification, you will quickly get acquainted with the implementation of the pump functionality in your S7 project.

With the CM CANopen module from IXXAT, you can connect any CANopen or CAN 2.0A devices to the SIMATIC S7-1200. The module is plugged into the communication interface of the S7-1200 and acts as a bridge between the CANopen or CAN devices and the SIMATIC controller. This allows you to connect and control the neMESYS pumps with your S7-1200 via CAN bus. With the help of the neMESYS Firmware Specification, you will quickly get acquainted with the implementation of the pump functionality in your S7 project.
