Industrial mechanic (male, female, diverse)

CETONI develops and manufactures high-quality products in automation and microsystem technology. We manufacture and assemble many mechanical parts in-house in our prototype workshop. As an industrial mechanic, you will manufacture small metal and plastic components. To do this, you mainly process semi-finished products manually or mechanically with our CNC lathes and milling machines.

You assemble mostly self-made components according to work plans and technical drawings, to create small and extremely precise devices and machines for microsystem and laboratory technology. You also maintain and repair tools and machines.

During your three and a half year apprenticeship with us, you will learn the following:

Manufacturing components manually (filing, sawing, bending, grinding)
Machining components and individual parts, using machine tools, such as CNC milling machines and CNC lathes
Materials science, handling of materials, evaluation of materials
Handling and maintenance of tools and machines
Storing, securing and preparing materials and products for transport
Assembly and construction of mechanical assemblies or components
Precision device construction (laboratory technology, microsystem technology)
Eliminating errors and malfunctions on machines and maintaining machines
Application of the company’s quality assurance system
Recognizing, eliminating and documenting quality defects
