In certain applications it is necessary to ensure gentle mixing of the suspensions while dosing, or to keep the concentration of substance mixtures almost constant over a certain period of time and to prevent sedimentation.

How it works
With this syringe stirrer, we have integrated a conventional magnetic stirring rod (stirring fish) into a normal 50 ml syringe. A rotating permanent magnet in the stirring ring of the stirring module causes the stirring rod in the syringe to move in a circular motion. In addition, the stirring ring moves linearly over the entire area of the syringe plunger. The stirring rod inside follows this linear movement while rotating evenly.
These two movements of the stirring rod, rotation and linear movement, ensure excellent mixing of suspensions inside the syringe over the entire area of the syringe plunger.
The even, PID-controlled advance of the neMESYS syringe pump module then ensures pulsation-free dosing of this suspension.

Glass or plastic – the choice is yours
The Nemix50 syringe stirrer can be fitted with either a 50 ml B.Braun Perfusor syringe (plastic) or a high-quality 50 ml precision glass syringe. Depending on the syringe type, we supply the syringe stirrer with the appropriate syringe holder + plunger holder. If you want to use both types of syringe, simply order the second syringe holder as an accessory.
