Dual study program in electrical engineering/automation technology

If you will soon have your high school diploma in your pocket and are still thinking about whether you should study or start working straight away, the dual study program is the perfect compromise. On one hand, you get a training salary and learn the practical aspects of electrical engineering and automation technology with us. On the other hand, there is the theoretical background knowledge that is imparted to you at the university. This all-round program, which prepares you perfectly for your career start, is part of the study concept.

The advantages of a dual study program are the particular practical relevance, the short study duration, a training salary you receive during the program and the prospect of entering a responsible position at CETONI immediately after graduating. During your studies, you will be actively involved in the development of our products, the construction and wiring of test systems or the commissioning and diagnosis of communication systems.

12-week theoretical phases at the State University Gera-Eisenach alternate with 12-week practical phases here in our company. The course ends after three years with the Bachelor thesis and the Bachelor of Engineering.

Requirement profile

If you are interested in electronics and the latest IT technology, if you are familiar with current, voltage and resistance, if you have no fear of contact with modern hardware and software and if you don’t just want to use high-tech devices, but are also interested in how they work, how they are developed, wired and tested – then this study program could be right for you.

The target group of the course are highly motivated high school graduates who are interested in electrical engineering and science, and who meet the following requirements.

A high school diploma with an average of at least “good” or better
good written and spoken English
Technical understanding and interest
Interest in electrical engineering, electronics and
good computer skills
Abstract thinking and good math skills
Independence and the ability to work in a team
