The advantages of a dual study program

If you will soon have your high school diploma in your pocket and are still thinking about whether you should study or start working straight away, the dual study program is the perfect answer. On one hand, you will receive a training salary and will get to know the practical side of the job of a computer scientist and software developer. On the other hand, there is the theoretical background knowledge that is imparted to you at university. This all-round program, which perfectly prepares you for your career entry, is part of the study concept.

12-week theoretical phases at the Gera-Eisenach Cooperative State University in Gera alternate with 12-week practical phases here at our company. The course ends after three years with the Bachelor thesis and the Bachelor of Engineering.

Requirement profile

If you are interested in the latest IT technology, if you have no reservations when dealing with the latest hardware and software and if you not only want to use programs, but are also interested in how modern software applications are developed – then this course could be just right for you.

The target group of the course are highly motivated, IT-enthusiastic high school graduates who meet the following requirements.

  • A high school diploma with an average of at least “good” or better
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Technical understanding and interest
  • good computer skills
  • Abstract thinking and good math skills
  • Independence and the ability to work in a team
